Individual Therapy

In individual therapy, acceptance and mindfulness based treatment (ACT) is used to help you move towards your values. We aim to meet you wherever you are in your personal struggle and help you create a rich and meaningful life. While trained in evidence based therapies, we treat individuals as unique and complex and spend the time necessary to learn your history, cultural influences, and ongoing experience of your inner world. You may wish to address a specific issue such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder or insomnia; or you may wish to better understand what is keeping you stuck so you can move towards a more fulfilling life. Whether you are seeking insight, a new perspective on your life, facing your fears, learning how to cope with internal or external challenges or aren’t quite sure yet, therapy can help you enhance your life.
