Insurance

Clarity Psychological Wellness has chosen to remain a private pay outpatient clinic in order to provide the highest standard of care to clients. However, you may still be able to file claims with your insurance company.

There are many benefits of private pay for mental health care including not having to label and provide a diagnosis to the insurance company, as well as individualized treatment without limitations on length or duration of therapy.

Filing for Out of Network Reimbursement

You can still file on an "out of network" basis. Should you choose to do so, we'll do everything we can to help and simplify the process. You will be provided with the necessary form and receipt to submit to your insurance company. The process is fairly simple and often people receive significant reimbursement as a result of filing. However, we recommend that you speak with your insurance provider prior to scheduling an appointment to learn about the specific benefits and requirements of your plan.

Questions to Ask Your Insurance Company:

  • Does your plan include "out-of-network" coverage for mental health?

  • Is there an annual deductible for out-of-network mental health benefits?

  • Is there a limit to how many sessions or expense amount your plan will cover per year?

Good Faith Estimate

Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers are required to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services (i.e., “Good Faith Estimate”).
