Jennifer Funaro, LPA (she/her/hers), is a licensed psychological associate offering psychotherapy and psychological assessment to adults and adolescents. Jennifer has extensive training from many experts in the field and her clinical work is founded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Her passion has been understanding the mind-body connection, where her research focused on the association between trauma and disordered eating behaviors.

Specialties Include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Eating Disorder Treatment

Jennifer has expertise in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, eating difficulties, adjustment to or complications associated with medical illnesses, relationships, and life transitions. Additionally, she has experience working as a behavioral health specialist, focusing on the interaction between psychosocial concerns and mental and physical illnesses, and developed wellness strategies in collaboration with medical providers (i.e. diabetes management, smoking cessation, sleep hygiene, trauma, and addiction). Most recently, Jennifer has used her expertise in behavioral health to treat insomnia and other sleep disorders.
